The Sanskrit name is Sahasrara meaning “a thousandfold.”Its colors are purple, clear, and white. The symbol is a circle with a thousand petals. It’s located at the top of the head or slightly above the head, like a crown’s presence. Physically it is associated with the brain and nervous system. Knowledge, consciousness, awareness, bliss, and wisdom come from this chakra. It’s referred to as the gateway to higher consciousness and higher self.
